Fortnite’s v29.40 update marks a glorious reunion with the legendary Star Wars universe, bringing lightsabers, blasters, and iconic locations to every corner of the Fortnite experience.

The Battle Royale map gets a Star Wars makeover! A new landmark, Camp Nowhere, has emerged, and it’s here you might just find the mighty Chewbacca. Help this loyal Wookie companion, and he’ll not only roar his gratitude but also lend a hand (or paw) in battle with his signature Bowcaster. This powerful weapon can also be found in Imperial Chests scattered around Stormtrooper roadblocks.

Face the Dark Lord Himself: The Darth Vader boss battle returns, challenging you to take down the iconic Sith Lord and claim his loot.

Stormtrooper Showdown: Keep an eye out for patrolling Stormtrooper NPCs. Defeating them might just reward you with an E-11 Blaster for some classic Star Wars pew-pew action.

Lightsabers Await in LEGO® Fortnite

The Force is strong in LEGO® Fortnite too! Starting May 3rd, the Rebellion and Galactic Empire clash in this brick-tastic world. Help the Rebels build their village, then take up iconic Star Wars weapons like lightsabers, DL-44 Blasters, and Thermal Detonators to defend against Imperial threats. Don’t forget to complete the LEGO Pass: Rebel Adventure quests for exclusive Star Wars-themed rewards inspired by Tatooine!

The fun doesn’t stop there! Fortnite Festival joins the Star Wars party with special quests set in the Mos Eisley Cantina. Complete these quests from May 3rd to May 14th to unlock the Seven-String Hallikset Guitar, a perfect addition for any aspiring galactic rockstar.

Feeling the need for speed? Rocket Racing gets its own set of Star Wars quests starting May 3rd. These quests will grant you a Battle Pass Level Up reward and the sleek Energy Binders trail, inspired by podracing.
